ECE Ph.D. graduates Caroline Andrews Ph.D. '12 and Dong Yang Ph.D. '15 recently received the Darlington Best Paper Award along with their advisor and co-author, ECE Associate Professor Alyosha Molnar.
The Darlington Award recognizes the best paper bridging the gap between theory and practice published in the “Transactions on Circuits and Systems” publication. The award is based on general quality, originality, contributions, subject matter and timeliness.
Their paper, Optimized Design of N-Phase Passive Mixer-First Receivers in Wideband Operations was published in the November 2015 issues of IEEE Transactions on Circuits and System I: Regular Papers.
